This interactive online event with ROTOS and invited guests will provide tips on getting occupational therapy related research published. It takes place at 4pm (GMT)/ 5pm (CET) on the 24th June.

Getting research findings disseminated is a critical step in the research process. It is also the means of sharing learning so others can build on and/or implement what was discovered. The ultimate goal is to improve practice so people who receive occupational therapy have the best possible experience and outcome.

Like most scientific disciplines, occupational therapy continues to use peer reviewed publication as the avenue for sharing findings of research studies. However, this can be daunting task and researchers can experience a wide variety of challenges along the way to completing it. Over time, with each experience, researchers develop ways to get around these challenges and grow in confidence. Key to this is understanding the peer review process and interpreting feedback on the submitted paper.
